Red Satin Biscuit Jar

This pigeon blood red satin glass biscuit jar features a softly frosted finish and hand-painted enamel florals in warm yellow and pink tones. The paneled, heart-shaped body hints at early 20th-century American art glass styles which are often associated with makers like Phoenix or Consolidated; however, no definitive makers mark is present.

The silver-tone lid features a decorative finial and fits slightly askew, suggesting it may be a vintage replacement. Light wear is present on the surface of the piece, consistent with its age.
