This Northwood custard glass bowl, produced around 1888 is a lovely example of early American art glass. The “Chrysanthemum Sprig” pattern, also known as Pagoda, features beautifully raised gold scrollwork, scalloped edges, and hand-painted enamel flowers in soft pink and lavender.

This petite oval bowl sits on an ornate pedestal base and showcases Northwood’s early mastery of custard glass, prized for its warm, opalescent glow.

  • Dimensions: 5 ¼” long x 3 ⅜” wide x 2 ¾” high
  • Condition: No chips or cracks. Light expected age wear to the gold trim. Hand-painted florals are present with a pink flower on one side and lavender on the reverse.
