This petite gilt jewelry casket was crafted by Jennings Brothers, a renowned metalworks firm that operated in Bridgeport, Connecticut from the late 1800s through the 1930s. The piece features the company’s signature Art Nouveau floral lid with sweeping organic curves and a delicately domed form resting on four stylized legs.
Originally used to hold keepsakes or fine jewelry, this cast spelter box glows with its original golden finish and bears the classic “JB” mark on the underside. The interior shows traces of age and time, adding authenticity and charm to its over-century-old history.
- Dimensions: 3.75" L × 2.25" W × 2.5" H
- Condition: Good antique condition with light wear consistent with age. No interior lining remains, but the hinge is intact and the finish retains a beautiful, warm patina.
An elegant display piece for collectors, stylists, or anyone drawn to the golden age of Art Nouveau design.
