Glamorous Art Deco boudoir Fulper ballerina perfume lamp, complete with her original porcelain figure and a beautifully swirling purple skirt. Lamp includes the original cast metal base.
This lamp is crafted in the refined, luminous porcelain that Fulper was known for in the 1920s–1930s. When lit, the lamp gives off a warm, atmospheric glow, creating the perfect vanity, bedside, or collector’s accent.

- Condition: Lamp is in working condition with functioning cord/switch. Porcelain ballerina is in very good vintage condition, consistent with age. No visible cracks or repairs noted. There is light aging to the metal base.
A standout piece for collectors of Art Deco lighting, perfume lamps, and figurative ceramics. Perfume lamps were originally designed to release fragrance through gentle heat. A small bulb inside the lamp would warm a tiny “perfume well” or scent cup, causing scented oils or solid perfume cakes to slowly evaporate and perfume the room. This created a soft, glamorous boudoir atmosphere in the 1920s–1930s.
Most collectors today enjoy these lamps purely as decorative lighting rather than for scent diffusion, but the history adds wonderful charm and context to each piece.
