This charming antique biscuit jar features a softly curved Bristol-glass body with a beautiful hand-painted floral motif in pinks, blues, and greens. The surface has a satin, semi-opaque finish traditionally associated with Bristol and custard glass from the late Victorian period. The metal lid and swing handle add classic Victorian character, making it a lovely decorative accent for cottage-core, shabby chic, or vintage-inspired interiors.
- Era: Late 1800s – early 1900s
- Hand-painted floral design with raised enamel accent
- Measures: 6.5" H (without handle) x 6" W
- Condition: No chips or cracks; the artwork remains vibrant, and the enamel flowers are intact. Some age-appropriate wear and surface scratches are visible on the white glass, consistent with its 100+ years of age.
