Antique Mount Washington Satin Glass Syrup Jar Smith Brothers c. 1880s

This marked Mount Washington satin glass syrup jar features hand-applied enamel oak leaves and acorns, rendered in warm autumn tones against a creamy satin ground. The silverplate mount and hinged lid remain intact and fully functional, with age-appropriate patina that only enhances its character.

This piece was produced in the 1880s by Smith Brothers for Mount Washington Glass Company, as confirmed by the stamped rampant lion trademark on the underside.
