This gilded metal jewelry casket, made by B&W (Benedict & Wieners Co.) around 1900–1915, embodies the romantic Art Nouveau era. Cast from spelter with a warm golden finish, it features a heart-shaped lid adorned with raised floral and scrollwork motifs and stands gracefully on cabriole legs. The original silk lining remains intact, delicately aged and a testament to its history. The underside is clearly marked “B&W 115.”
